Eastwoodhill is the National Arboretum of New Zealand, 25,000 trees, 250 hectares, started in 1910. The trust budget keeps the gates open. Everything else - new planting, track work, signage, the Discovery Centre, the next stage of the 100-year Masterplan - relies on people like you.
We need to raise $200,000 a year to do the things the budget cannot stretch to. We get there one donation at a time.
"An arboreal ark, a safe haven for threatened and endangered trees."
William Cook started in 1910 and never saw the canopy mature. Visitors today walk under it. Your gift today is somebody else's canopy in 2126.
All donations $5+ qualify for a 33% IRD tax credit. Receipt emailed straight away.
